Shift/Work: Portraits of Precarity is the exhibition resulting from a multi-disciplinary project called “Precarious Work and Mental Health: Exploring Uncertainty through Research-Creation”. The multidisciplinary research team includes visual artist and educator, Prof. Lisa Wood, who created art for the exhibition and mentored three artist research assistants —Renata Truelove, Michael Vachon, and Dhairya Vaidya. Professor Wood worked in conjunction with Counselling psychologist and Principal Investigator Dr. Breanna Lawrence (University of Victoria), and rural health geographer, Dr. Rachel Herron (Brandon University).
